Bryan, Harrison
Harrison Bryan was Librarian of the University of Queensland 1950-1962, and of the University of Sydney 1963-1980. He was Director-General of the National Library of Australia 1980-1985. He was appointed an Officer in the Order of Australia, received the HCL Anderson Award of the Australian Library and Information Association, and was awarded honorary doctorates by three universities - Monash, Queensland and Sydney.
